Technical Preface
The catalog specifications reflect the titles and dates, if any, specified by the artists and/or in the works lists. We have assigned undated works to periods on the basis of literature or for stylistic reasons.
All works have been remeasured without adopting the specifications given in the works lists. Incorrect color specifications in the works lists have not been adopted. Dimensions are indicated in centimeters. The first dimension reflects the height followed by the width (followed by the depth in case of three-dimensional objects), whereas the sheet size is indicated in the case of originals and the picture and/or plate size in the case of prints. For sculptures, only the height is indicated.
Works received in frames will be auctioned in frames. Works with estimated prices marked »*« or »**« are subject to regular taxation. The identification »*« indicates the full value added tax rate of 19%, »**« indicates the reduced value added tax rate of 7%.
It is possible to submit bids in writing to the auctioneers. An appropriate authorization form is enclosed in the catalog. We kindly ask you to submit your written bids as well as your applications for bidding by phone by 30.03.2012 18:00.
The numbers of the clients are indicated by the 5th and 6th figure of the number before the estmated price.
